
President Aimim Assaddin Owaisi has undertook to continue the protests against the WAQF law (amendment) until he returned. Member of the Parliament in Hyderabad accused the government of the Prime Minister Narendry Modi-Mored of the “focus” on the identity and law of Muslims for 11 years.
Owaisi stressed that the opposition to the law would reflect earlier protests against canceled farm laws.

“You (PM Narendra Modi) have to take this law back. The way our farmers have shown the way, we will continue to agglize in the same way. Until the law is withdrawn, in the country there will be peaceful protests in Hyderabad.
Farm laws taken in 2021
19 November 2021 The Prime Minister Modi during his second term of office announced the withdrawal of three controversial farm laws. Farmers, mostly from Punjab and Haryana, protested against these laws on the border of Delhi for about a year.

WAQF Act contested in court

“Now, in the name of the Unified Civil Code, he wants to (Modi) to take away our scarf from us,” he said.
The leader Aimi also claimed that the exclusion of Dawoodi Bohras from the draft WAQF Act was a step towards the division and weakening of the Muslim community.

Dawoodi’s delegation has recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modim to express her gratitude for the WAQF law, which she said to have dealt with several long -term community concerns.
