
On Sunday, under the auspices of Subrahmanya Mahati Sageetha Vameti, the musical tribute to the legendary Maestro Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishn was a musical tribute. The event, which exceeded from morning to evening in the Samiti cultural auditorium, represented a number of vocal concerts that celebrated Balamuralikrishhn’s compositions and music heritage.
The Performances Were Marked by Both Reanger and Talent, AS Disciples of the Renowned Vocalist Modumudi Sudhakar, Along with Promising Young Artists Such as Lanka Tejaswi, Banupalli Vidyasagar, S. Satvika, Burra Neelakantha Shastri, Vemuri Poornavalli, and Sriranjani, Rendered Variase “Critis” composed of Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishn. Their rendition brought lyrical beauty and melodic wealth built into his works.
They were accompanied by K. Subrahmanyaraju and BVS Krishna, while Kundurthi Aravind and KK Adinarayanashma provided rhythmic support on Mridangam, which improved the musical experience for the audience.
In the evening, veteran singers Modumudi Sudhakar and DV Mohanakrishna decorated their performance on stage. Their nuances of rendering introduced their championships and served as a tribute to “Sangeeta Neerajanam” – a musical offer. They were accompanied by Subrahmanyaraju on Viloin, Aravind and Adinarayanashma on Mridangama and Haribaba on Ghatam.
