Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working President KT Rama Rao accused the Congress Government led by CM A. Revanth Reddy of the looting of public funds under the guise of the Musi Development Project and killed the escalation of costs.
On Thursday, the media addressed and recalled that it was the previous government of K. Chandrasekhar Rao, which brought the water of the Godavari river to Kondapocamma Sagar, near Hyderabad, through the project of irrigation of the Kaleshwaram elevator (clip) after approved the design of the budget of 1,100 GBP Crorein 2022.
While the KCR government has prepared a main plan and a detailed report on the project (DPR) with estimated costs of 16,000 GBP Crore, the Congress government has now inflated estimates on the stunning Crore 1 50,000 GBP, the former minister said.
KTR warned that BRS would reveal and prevent this “fraud”. He accused the government of Congress of rushing the project to ensure his position by bribery officials in Delhi, all under the “robes of city development”.
He also criticized the leader of the Congress for the “spread of lies” that the Kaleshwaam project collapsed, and at the same time announced plans to use water from the same project for the Musi project.
