The special investigation team (SIT) Police Meghalaya arrested one more person in connection with the murder of Indore Raja Raghuvansehi during his honeymoon in the northeast state, with the total number of arrests for eight.
According to the police, the Singh Singh Tomar was arrested from Gwalior for the alleged hiding and destruction of evidence in this case. He is the owner of the apartment in Indore’s Heera Bagh Colony, where Sonam Raghuvanki, Raja’s wife and prime accused in this case, remained after returning to the city after his murder in the area of SOHRA in the Meghalaya district to the east of Khasi Hills.
“The police team of the Meghalaya arrived here and took Tomarová’s custody. After the formality is completed, they are leaving for Indore,” said Hinde officer in the police Gwalior.
The head officer at the Indore Police police branch, which coordinates the local probe with the police Meghalaya, said Mr. Tomar was arrested on the basis of Silime James inputs, Indore based on the 22nd June, arrested for allegedly burning the box containing Mrs Sonam, and her alleged girlfriend Raj Kushwaha.
“Silome James revealed the involvement of Locendra in the destruction of evidence. He claims to have acted according to Locendry’s instructions, but as soon as he arrives on Tuesday, we gain more clarity and both are together,” the officer said, demanding anonymity.
In addition to Mr. James, Balvir Ahirvar aka Balla, the security guard of the apartment building, he was also arrested 22nd June. The Meghalaya police have been awarded a seven -day transit bridged both people, but the SIT currently challenges them in Indore itself.
Mrs. Sonam and Mr. Kushwaha are already in judicial custody in Meghalaya, along with three friends – Vishal Chauhan, Akash Rajput and Anand Kurmi – who were allegedly hired to make the murder.
Rajah’s unfolded body was found in a deep ravine in Sohra 2. Later she was arrested on 9 June from Ghazipur Uttar Pradesh.
