
In the breakthrough of the murder of a 20 -year -old aspirant, allegedly cattle smugglers in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, arrested one of the accused after the meeting on Wednesday (September 17, 2025), the officials said.
In a joint operation, police teams from Piraich and Kushinagar charged the “smuggler” identified as Rahim in Kushinagar after the fire replacement, they said. Two other suspects were detained, identified as chot and raja, while the reward was declared to arrest two escapes of the accused.
Development comes the day after Deepak Gupta was killed in the early hours during confrontation with cattle smugglers. The locals attacked and overwhelmed one of the accused, Ajab Hussain, who is currently undergoing Medical College after serious injuries.
After the youth body was found with a serious head injury, he was registered against six people.
“Everyone who participates in the incident will soon be arrested and sent to prison,” said Senior Superintendant Raj Karan Nayyar, because after the meeting confirmed the arrest in the case.
Meanwhile, the law and order of the Uttar Pradesh Police AMITABH Yash reviewed the situation in this area and secured the family of the victims of a strict action against responsible, the officials said.

The murder launched extensive anger in the village of Mauachapi, when the villagers met the police and blocked the Gorakhpur Piraich road on Tuesday (September 16, 2025).
According to officials, the problems began late on Monday (September 15, 2025), when 10 to 12 allegedly fuel cattle in two vans attempted to penetrate the furniture trader belonging to the local merchant.
Deepak, the son of the shop owner, threw himself into a place on the scooter to increase the alarm, followed by other villagers. The incident caused the Gorakhpurian police to suspend the authorized and entire staff of the Dhusar Jungle police base for “serious negligence and indifference to service”. The investigation of the department was also ordered.
Deepak’s funeral on Tuesday (September 16, 2025) in the afternoon saw a new tension when the villagers plunged stones at the PAC staff and forced them to retreat.
The family demanded for the accused compensation of 1 crore, government work and death penalty. The most salute mother of youth said he could be saved if the police act quickly.
District Judge Deepak Meena described the incident as “very tragic” and said that all the requirements of the family were considered. In the village, higher officers were placed to prevent further flare.
The incident also triggered political reactions, and the Party of Samajwadi Akhilesh Yadav called it the “main failure” of the Yogi Adityanath government and claimed that the smugglers were protected by administration.
