The case of the murder of Meghalaya: There is a “strong possibility” that Sonam Raghuvanki is involved in killing her husband Raja Raghuvanshi during their honeymoon, but it is difficult to confirm, the police said on Wednesday.
The refusal of Sonam confessed to the murder of Raja Raghuvanki, when they were on the honeymoon in Meghalaya, East Khasi Hills another SP Ashish said that information in the public domain is not “specific”.

SP East Khasi Hills Vivek Syiem further informed that now that they were brought to Shilllong, where the murder was allegedly, a thorough investigation would begin.
He also said that the police had sufficient information about the involvement of Sonama Raghuvanki in a crime.

“We have just brought here the accused. Now we will start a thorough investigation. We have sufficient evidence of its involvement. As far as the whole picture is concerned – how much it was and what it did – it all works out later,” Syiem told the media.
“Our evidence shows that it is very involved, but the interrogation will provide a clearer picture,” he added.
Brother Sonam RaghuvanShi claims
When the police began investigating the murder, in relation to the Sonam, her alleged friend Raj Kushwaha and the other three – Vishal Chauhan, Akash Rajput and Anand Kurmi – arrested her brother the main statement.

Govind, who visited the family of his deceased sister -in -law on Wednesday, said he stood with Raja Raghuvansehi’s affinity and decided to boycott Sonam.
“I don’t know if (Sonam) admitted or not. I stand with Raja Raghuvanki and fight for it. Even my parents accepted the truth, they didn’t know anything before, but after they found it, they decided to boycott themselves.”
Govind said he would appoint a lawyer who would take legal action against Sonama.
“I apologized to Rajaina’s family and I will always stand with them. We will ensure that Sonam is punished, and we will name a lawyer who will take legal action against her,” he said.

Raja’s body was found 2 June in the gorge in Sohra near Cherrapunji in Meghalaya after missing since last month. Sonam Raghuvanki was later found near Dhaba on the main Varanasi-Ghazipur road and was then arrested.
