
Tyler Robinson, 22 years, directly combined DNA, with fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, said FBI director Kash Patel on Monday (September 15).
“Today I can announce that the hits of the DNA from the towel, which was wrapped around a firearm and DNA on a screwdriver, are positively processed for the suspect in custody,” Patel said with reference to evidence obtained at the crime scene.
Note suggests premedification
Patel also revealed that Robinson believed that he wrote a note before the attack.
Note, said, “Basically says …” I have the opportunity to remove Charlie Kirk “and I will take it.” Although the original note was destroyed, the patel added, “Although destroyed, we found forensic evidence of the note.”
Suspect arrested after Manhunt
Robinson was arrested on Thursday (September 11) after a 33 -hour fall and is expected to be formally charged at the end of this week. The authorities stated that he used a sniper rifle to fire a single shot that hit Kirk in his neck from the roof during a speaking event at Utah Valley University.
Governor links are suspected of online radicalization
Utah Governor Spencer Cox said on Sunday that Robinson had been “radicalized” on the online community and in recent years expressed my left -wing ideology.
“There was clearly left -wing ideology,” Cox said at NB News. “Friends have confirmed that there is a kind of deep, dark internet, Reddit culture, and these other dark places of the Internet where this person went deep.”

Cox also noted that investigators found engraved news about Robinson’s ammunition, including one cloak that reads: “Hey, fascist! Catch!”
A romantic reference to a transgender roommate
Governor added that Robinson lived with Transgender’s roommates working with the authorities.
“My roommate was a romantic partner, a male transition to a woman,” Cox said. “I can say that he was incredibly cooperative, this partner was very cooperative, he had no idea it was happening.”

Tyler Robinson grew up in St. George in Utah and once was a highly reaching student who scored in the 99th percentile in standardized tests. He briefly visited Utah State University on a prestigious scholarship before enrolling in the Electrical Apprenticeship program on Dixie Technical College.
