Polls for the municipal elections ended peacefully on Wednesday across the Cyberabad Commissionerate, with senior officers reviewing security arrangements at various locations.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh inspected the polling stations to assess the security deployment and preparedness. He first visited Zilla Parishad High Schools (ZPHS) at Ravalkola, Yellampet under Medchal police station limits in Quthbullapur zone. Later, he inspected the arrangements at the polling booths of ZPHS in Lalgadi Malakpet and Aliabad MPPS in Aliabad Municipality under Genome Valley Police Station.
The commissioner also visited Indresham Mandal Parishad Upper Primary School, Isnapur ZPHS and Chitkul Mandal Parishad Upper Primary School (MPPS) in Indresham and Isnapur municipalities under Patancheru police station limits in Serilingampally zone. During his visits, he interacted with police personnel on election duty and instructed them to remain vigilant and discharge their duties without any security lapse.

The official said that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure that voting is conducted in a free, fair and peaceful manner. He also urged the citizens to exercise their right to vote without fear and said strict measures are in place to maintain law and order throughout the election process.
He was accompanied by Serilingampally DCP Ch. Srinivas, Quthbullapur area in-charge DCP Sai Manohar, SB DCP Sudhindra, Crimes DCP Mutyam Reddy, Wing and Child Safety Wing DCP Srujana Karanam and several other officials.
