The Munambam Council, a team of Munambam inhabitants, called on the Union’s government to create rules for the WAQF Act (amendment) 2025 because the Supreme Court did not remain section 2 (a). A) legislation.
The section states that the changed act of WAQF does not apply to trusts set by Muslim for similar WAQF purposes. The Council claimed that Munammam’s country was falling within the range of the section, and therefore the Munammam Land Agreement cannot be considered WAQF.
If the Union government fails to compensate the rules for the law by giving the advantage of section 2 (a). A) On Munambam countries, it should be understood that the changes could not solve the problem, said Benny Joseph, the organizer of the Council.
BJP leaders led the campaign that the Union government could not go to the rules because CPI (M) and the Indian Muslim League of Union questioned changes in the Supreme Court. Now that the court has not remained a provision, the Union’s government demands rules that help the inhabitants of Munambam.
Meanwhile protest of the population entered its 338. On Monday.
