
Mumbai Rain Live Update: Mumbai witnesses heavy rains and was under “Orange Alert”. It caused serious water and operation in various places in the city. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts very heavy showers in the next few hours and in neighboring areas.

In the last 24 hours, the Colab Observatory in South Mumbai has seen 134.4 mm of precipitation, while the Santacruz observatory in the suburbs measured 73.2 mm. According to precipitation data from the civic body, the island city saw an average of 111.19 mm rain, with the Eastern suburbs received 76.46 mm and the western suburbs of 74.15 mm, during the 24 -hour period ending on Monday at 8 am.
Meanwhile, IMD released an “orange warning” for Palghar, Pune, Ahilyanagar and Beed districts, indicating the likelihood of severe rainfall. The rest of the Maharashtra is expected to experience light showers or remain mostly dry.
