Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, is in the limelight as he was caught on camera offering tea to former Indian national cricket team captain Rohit Sharma. The Reliance Industries chairman was spotted sitting with wife Nita Ambani and ace cricketer Rohit at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on February 7, Saturday during the inaugural match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup T20 in India.

All eyes were not only on the high-stakes match where the defending champions India met the USA, but the owners of the Mumbai Indians were also closely watched by the spectators.

Mukesh and Nita Ambani attended the India vs USA T20 World Cup match with family members and friends. However, a video is doing the rounds online which shows Mukesh Ambani and Reliance Foundation founder and chairperson Nita Ambani greeting Rohit Sharma warmly.

Seated with their elder son Akash Ambani and grandchildren, the billionaire couple stood up to greet Rohit when he reached their VIP box. The most surprising incident was when Mukesh Ambani was seen offering a cup of tea to Rohit Sharma, which he politely declined. The kind gesture caught the attention of social media and sparked a wave of reactions online.
