
Liverpool Winger Mohamed Salah created history by won the Men Player of the Year Award for the third time – the first player he had ever achieved.
33 -year -old Egypt International played a crucial role last season in the Premier League triumph in Liverpool and ended up as the best scorer of the league with 29 goals and also registered 18 assists. His remarkable performances saw him defeated from the Reds team Alexis Mac Allister, Captain Manchester United Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and midfielder Arsenal Declan Riceov.
Salah also won the Premier League Player of Season Award and was appointed a football football player for football writers for the 2024-25 campaign.
Asked if he imagined such an award growing up in Egypt, Salah refused: “Of course I wanted to be a football player and wanted to be famous and secure my family, but you don’t think about big things when you’re still in Egypt.
Meanwhile, midfielder Aston Villa Morgan Rogers was named the young player of the year and became the fifth representative of the villa who won the prize, in the footsteps of Andy Gray, Gary Shaw, Ashley Young and James Milner.
Rogers had the escape season under the Unai Emery, introduced in 54 matches in all competitions, scored 14 goals and helped Ville to secure sixth place in the Premier League, along with the quarterfinal of the Champions League and the FA Cup semifinals.
A 23 -year -old man, signed from Middlesbrough in February 2024 for approximately 15 million, has also made his debut in England against Greece in November and has earned six international caps since then.
When he talked about the price, Rogers said, “Later I want to be one of those incredible players that people are talking about, so I have to do what they did and followed.
That means the seventh consecutive year when the English player won the PFA Young Player of the Year Award.
Rogers lasted talented candidates, including a couple of Arsenal Myles Lewis-Sklly and Ethan Nwaneri, Dean Huijsen and Miloš Kerkez (who left Bournemouth for Real Madrid and Liverpool) and Liam Delap, now in Chelsea after a strong season in Ipswich.
In other categories PFA: James Trafford, which joined Manchester City last month, was appointed a champion of the year after maintaining 29 clean sheets and helping Burnley to ensure automatic promotion to the Premier League with second place.
Richard Kone, now with Queens Park Rangers, won the League One Player of the Year after winning 18 goals for Wycombe. Michael Cheek from Bromley won the League Two Player of the Year and Golden Boot, which had 25 goals.
The PFA Merit Award was awarded to Sir Gareth Southgate as a recognition of his long -term contributions to English football, both as a manager and a former player and for his achievements with the national team.
