
AP Industries and Commerce Minister N. Yuvaraj said small and medium enterprises must embrace technology to increase productivity and remain competitive in a fast-changing market while delivering the keynote address during a workshop held at the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) in Amaravati on Tuesday.
Organized by RTIH in collaboration with the National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) under the RAMP initiative, the workshop focused on empowering SMEs and start-ups through technological innovation, intellectual property rights and technology transfer. The event brought together government officials, industry leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs at the RTIH campus.
Special guest APMSME Chairman Thammireddy Siva Sankara Rao highlighted new opportunities for local entrepreneurs. The technical sessions covered technology transfer, commercialization, intellectual property and business prospects in Andhra Pradesh, reaffirming the joint commitment to support SMEs and start-ups in the state.
Earlier, NRDC SRM and Head of Outreach Office BK Sahu delivered the welcome address where they highlighted the importance of linking research institutions with industry to promote the growth of MSMEs. RTIH & APIS CEO P. Dhatri Reddy highlighted the role of innovation hubs in helping start-ups adopt new technologies and expand into emerging business clusters in Andhra Pradesh.
