Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Wicketkeeper dough MS Dhoni became the first player in the history of IPL to complete 200 release in the tournament. Dhoni reached an act against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the match of 30 Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). Ayush Badoni of LSG became 200. As a result, Dhoni became the first player in the history of the tournament to complete 200 release and etched his name with golden words in the IPL folklore. Captain CSK was with his glove to the stumps when he caused three release in the match.

He was well supported by Mitchell Marsh (30 out of 25), Ayush Badoni (22 out of 17) and Abdul Samad (20 OFF 11). For CSK, Ravindra Jadeja (2/24, 3 overs), Matheesha Pathirana (2/45) was one of the goals, while Anshul Cartejul (1/20.3 overs), Noor Ahmad (0/13) Bowled Economic Spells.
