Former Indian cricket manoi Tiwars criticized the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) coaching staff for not having the courage to promote Mrs. Dhoni at the command of the launch during their Heavy defeat Royal Challengers Bengaluru 28th March in Chepauuk. Despite the CSK, they will collapse in their 197-run persecution, Dhoni was detained until number 9, a decision that caused outrage between fans.

The highest CSK order could not create any momentum and lose three goals inside the powerplay. Despite the speed of running, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja were sent before Dhoni, which further poisoned the fans. Before Dhoni came to the bat during the 16th, the game was slipping away.
Dhoni, however, showed a short show and in the final recorded the undefeated 30 out of 16 balls, including two six against Krunal Pandya. Yet his efforts turned out to be too little, too late, because CSK managed only 146/8 in his 20 breaks, which RCB handed over the commanding 50-run. Since 2008, the first victory of RCB in Chepauk has meant a 17 -year -old drought.

Virender Sehwag, another former Indian cricket, offered a contrasting view that Dhoni coming earlier, due to the dominance of RCB during the game, would not have changed the coming before. He also pointed out that Dhoni’s attitude towards the batstoping remained consistent during his career regardless of the situation of the match.
“That’s something he and his team have decided. He will only play a certain number of balls. He always comes to Bat du Ring 17. Or 18, he came in the same situation … I’m not surprised. It’s not as if he’s coming to the bat before, something about this game would change because of RCB,” Sehwag said.
Since IPL 2024, MS Dhoni continued to reducing the order for CSK, regardless of the situation of the match.
Interestingly, it was only for the second time in Dhoni’s T20 career, which he fired at number 9, the first was against the Pandjab Kings in IPL 2024 in Dharamsale, where he was released on the gold duck Harshal patel.
