Nasser Hussain claimed that the Indian oval hero Mohammed Siraj is more than the nickname the English team has given him, and compared Pacer with the legendary Shane Warne in terms of competition. Siraj was the star of the show for India in the final match of the series, chosening three of the finals four goals to help India to seal the dramatic six -head victory on Monday 4th August.
The Indian Pacer raised 23 goals during the series, and in the five matches he played, he bowed more than 185 in five matches he played. 31-year-old got out to India How Jasprit Bumrah played only three matches in the series. During the matches that India won, where Bumrah was missing, it was Siraj who led the way.
Hussain said in its Daily Mail column that Pacer was the reason why India won both games.
“Of course, they finally won two games that Bumrah did not play, and the reason was because of one man, really – Mohammed Siraj,” Hussain said.
Siraj had several harsh moments, especially as the last man who got out into the Lord’s test loss, and when he missed the catch when Harry Brook continued 19. Hussain compared it with Warn’s moment in Ashes 2005, dropping Kevin Pietersen. However, the former Captain of England said that Siraj has fitness and a strong will to succeed.
Hussain said that Siraj can occasionally play Pantomi’s villain like Warne, but he said he was an entertainer with all the attributes to succeed at the highest level.
“Siraj is a cricket that always gives him everything. Yes, sometimes he plays a rule of villain, a bit like Warney, so people like to hate him, but regularly has a huge smile on his face.”
“He’s fiery, England boys call him Mr. Angry and have the longest watching in the history of the game, but demands your attention. You could make a hazard of Histrionics – down to the knees in despair at the Lord, celebration and harvest when DrS decided one way or another.”
“It’s a born entertainer, but it fundamentally has all the other attributes you need at the highest level: heart, passion and eventually skill,” Hussain said.
“Perfect Execution by Champion Siraj”
Hussain said that if Siraj had a rough trip in England, India would lose a series and in the series it was a perfect performance.
“If Siraj goes wrong, India will lose a series, so it was the perfect execution from the cricket champion, who unfairly caused controversy over the last month,” Hussain said.
Siraj raised a total of nine goals through both shifts in an oval test.
