Visakhapatnam MP M Sribharat on Thursday urged the newly elected NDA party corporators of Visakhapatnam North Assembly constituency to make public service their top priority and work sincerely for the development of their wards.
Speaking at a felicitation program organized in the city, he said the mandate carries more responsibility. “Entrepreneurs should remain accessible to the citizens, monitor local issues and cooperate with Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) officials to resolve issues related to drinking water, sanitation, roads and sanitation,” he said.
Mr. Sribharat said the alliance’s victory was the result of coordination and unity — from seat-sharing to candidate selection — between the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), the Jana Sena Party (JSP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He praised Visakhapatnam North MLA P. Vishnu Kumar Raju for ensuring a fair and balanced approach in selecting candidates keeping in mind their strengths.
Mr. Sribharat warned against complacency and asked elected representatives to deliver on campaign assurances and avoid unrealistic promises. He hoped that the three parties would continue to work together for the progress of Andhra Pradesh and Visakhapatnam.
Mr. Vishnu Kumar Raju, Jana Sena Party Constituency Officer P. Usha Kiran, Mayor Mukka Sravani and other officials were present.
