Jagadish Shettar, a former Chief Minister and Member, urged the Union government to release all waiting wages under the Mahatma Gandhi (MGNEGA) Warranty Warranty Warranty Warranty.
During the meeting with the Minister of Agriculture of the Union and the Development of Rurals Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday in Nový Delhi Mr. Shettar raised concerns about delay in implementing other action plans in several talluks. For example, Members of Habutara Gram Panchayat submitted some proposals for improved rural works. Zilla Panchayat was approved. However, officials were reportedly failed to carry out them in time, which was caused by non -payment. This stopped developing projects and caused trouble for farmers in the district, he said.
He also had discussions on the development of the agricultural sector in the Belagavi Lok Sabha election district. The district is famous for growing gardening crops such as grapes, pomegranate, mango and raw chili, which are covered in the Prime Minister’s insurance system (PM Fasal Bima Yojan). However, the irregularities of precipitation, temperature and humidity recorded in villages led to inconsistent insurance compensation for farmers, which caused dissatisfaction. Mr. Shettar urged the center to install other weather monitoring and rainwater monitoring stations on a gram of Panchayat and the plants to ensure accurate data collection and timely payouts, he said.
Mr Shettar asked for an immediate intervention of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Union to deal with both questions. In response to this, Mr. Chouhan assured the swift action to resolve the complaints, the press release said.
