
Madhya Pradesh, Madesh, Mohan Yadav on Friday (May 9, 2025), chaired a high level in Bopal to review security arrangements throughout the state due to increased tension between India and Pakistan. Higher police, civil defense, armies and key government authorities were present at the meeting.
Mr. Yadav emphasized the need to ensure continuous basic services and ordered all departments to strengthen coordination and maintain the state of readiness. “Special attention should be paid to the security of key central and state government installations,” the main minister said in an official statement.

He also ordered that mechanisms of disaster management – including emergency health and fire services – will be immediately strengthened. “All departments must remain vigilant and the field staff involved in the offer of basic services should not go on holiday until the situation returns to normal,” he said.
The main minister also emphasized the importance of preventive measures and ordered the immediate implementation of all preventive measures. “National security is our primary obligation. Citizens’ safety must remain our highest priority,” Yadav said.
In a separate directive, he called on any “anti-national propaganda” to strictly monitor the officials to face misinformation. “Citizens should be recommended not to believe in the reputation,” he said.
The government official later confirmed that security was tightened in all critical infrastructure facilities throughout the state, including the spaces of the central and state government.
