The death toll in the Jabalpur boating tragedy rose to 13 on Sunday (May 3, 2026) after the bodies of the last two victims were recovered from the Bargi dam reservoir, authorities said.
Jabalpur Collector Raghvendra Singh told The Hindu that the body of nine-year-old Mayuram was found around 5 am, while the remains of his uncle Kamraj Arya were found around 8 am. Both are residents of Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu.
