
The police confiscated up to 15 motorcycles that were allegedly abused by students without basic documents in the Kozhikode countryside. Sources said most of the seized vehicles were from the pernabra and the surrounding villages.
The details of the minors who allegedly used vehicles for road pieces were collected for legal steps. Police sources said they would soon identify the original vehicle owners and that the details would be handed over to the department of motor vehicles (MVD).
Police officers from the Perambra station, who carried out a flash check on Thursday (August 7), said that many motorcycles did not have a valid registration certificate, insurance coverage and pollution under the certificate control.
