Over 88 percent voting was recorded in Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupattur and Tiruvannamalai districts for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections held on Thursday.
Election officials said among the four constituencies, Tiruvannamalai recorded the highest voting percentage at 88.98%, followed by Tirupattur (88.62%), Vellore (88.61%) and Ranipet (88.04%) at 8.30 pm on Thursday.
