
450 kilograms of cannabis, wrapped in Jaggery bags that were confiscated by coercive teams.
On Friday, two shipments of cannabis were confiscated in separate operations.
In the first case, the team of coercive means found a large package near the railway lines near the railway station in Nekon. It was found that the package contains 450 kilograms of cannabis masked as jaggers.
The inspector of the Nagaraju excise excise taxes confirmed that there were no suspects in connection with the seizures and the smuggler was handed over to the Naraspet station for further investigation.
In the second operation, after Tip-off, the coercive team together with the Warangal Railway Police performed the inspection at Warangal Station. During their search, they discovered an unattended bag near the Eastern Gate of the station. After its opening, the officials found six kilograms of Ganja. The shipment, worth approximately 3 lakh, was handed over to the Wrarangal Consumer Tax station for further investigation.
