As part of the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar (Healthy Woman, Strong Family), the Telangana Health Department will organize 20,639 health camps for women throughout the state until October 2. The Minister of Health C. Damodar Raja Narasimha was notified during the program of the program in the Community Health Center (CHC) Ameerpet on Wednesday.
The six -day campaign, launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Care, will include medical examinations and screening camps for non -transferable diseases (NCD), cancer, anemia, tuberculosis and sickle cell disease. It will also provide health care services for mother and children, promoting nutrition and hygiene awareness and supporting voluntary blood donation to strengthen public health. In addition, the initiative emphasizes therapeutic approaches through AYUSH for conditions such as anemia, NCD and polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD) in women and children.
The Minister said that specialized consultations will be available in hospitals and tendya Vishan Parishad, while in each district, mega medical camps with super-specialist doctors will be carried out.
“Women are the builders of society. If they are healthy, they will also be healthy families and society. Therefore, we prefer women’s health care in the state,” the minister said. He added that devotees of female clinics are already functional and offer free diagnostic tests, treatment and medicines.
The Minister recalled that the Centers for Mother and Children and Children’s Health was established in 2012–2013 in United Andra Pradesh.
