
More than 200 Indian passengers were stuck at a remote airport in Turkey almost all day after their flight tied to Mumbai had made an emergency landing.
Virgin Atlantic Flight from London to Bombai had to carry out an emergency landing at the remote airport Diyarbakir in Turkey, News18 reported on Thursday. This left passengers stuck at the airport for 16 hours.

Indian passengers from London to Bombai had to undergo an emergency landing when their flight faced medical emergency. However, the aircraft, VS 358, landed at Diyarbakir airport, which is not equipped with such situations.
Passengers were reportedly said that the aircraft faced some technical defects during landing and ensuring an alternative flight it takes time.
The stuck passengers left in the dark, no accommodation provided
Virgin Atlantic Airline has not yet meant a clear announcement of an alternative arrangement, so passengers in the dark on their next trip to the bomb.
“The emergency landing was carried out when one passenger had a panic attack. The airport in Turkey is not effective enough to handle the plane,” one of the passengers like News18 quoted.
Reportedly, they asked an airline to ensure an alternative mode of transport as quickly as possible.
Passengers also complained that they were not provided with accommodation.
“We did not get accommodation and we cannot even leave the airport because it is a military base,” said one of the NEWS18 passengers.
Pilot dead in an IAF accident in Jamnagar
In other reports, during the night mission shortly after take-off from Jamnagar Airport, IAF also reported on Thursday when they married Jamnagar Wo-Seater Jaguar from the Air Force (IAF).
IAF also said that one of the pilots tragically succumbed to injuries suffered during the ejection, while the other pilot undergoes treatment in the hospital in Jamnagar.
According to the IAF’s Media Coordination Center on X, pilots met with a technical disorder in the middle of the flight and threw away to prevent damage to the airport and near inhabited areas.
“During the night mission, a two -seater IAF Jaguar crashed a two -seater aircraft from Jamnagar Airport. Pilots faced technical failures and started ejecting and avoiding damage to the airport and local population.
The injured pilot is now stable with one broken leg and receives treatment for it.
