More than 100 pairs of identical twins and several sets of three from all over Kerala will meet at a special meeting that will be held here on 31. August, the organizers said on Friday.
The action is carried out by the ALL TWINS Association (ATA) and All Kerala Twins Community (AKTC) at the Ernakulam Town Hall, the ATA office said.
Minister ATA Viswas Vavolil, coming from the morning, said that the group began in 2018 as a community of social media called AKTC and since then it has grown as members by more than 800 pairs of identical twins and triplets.
“We perform various events to strengthen our connections. This will be our third meeting since the start of the AKTC. In addition to approximately 100 twins, we expect the event to participate in five triplets. We currently have 800 twins and 10 sets of triplets as members.”
“If they are counted individually, it is more than 1,500 people. We have individuals from 70 years to small children in the group. Several members work abroad. Our group continues to grow with new members who have learned to us,” Viswas said.
He said that the group remains primarily connected through social media platforms.
