Rhodos Scholarship Trust, which offers a prestigious scholarship for study at the University of Oxford, has been trying to increase the number of scholarships for Indians since 2028, in accordance with the country’s power, Richard Trainor, CEO of trust.
Mr. Trainor, who was in India before announcing requests for an academic meeting of 2026, said in an interview that six scholarships are currently offered to Indian candidates every year.
“Now it is a priority to try to get several other scholarships for places where the number of scientists per head of the population could be higher, and India is one of these places. So we have six scholarships per year for India, but there are more scholarships in this country,” said Rorodin.
“We are trying to raise money for other scholarships, because confidence must have this money in the foundation to pay fees at Oxford University and pay scientists’ cost of scientists,” he said.
Other regions of radar confidence to increase the number of scholarships are China and Africa. Currently, four scholarships are offered to candidates from China, and 21 scholarships are offered to Africa.
“We would like to have several other scientists in each of these three areas at the time of 125. The anniversary of the scholarship system, which is 2028. We will have great pressure on fundraising from now to 125.

“… it also transformed the mine. I was barely outside the United States at a time when I took a scholarship, and, as you know, it expanded my view of the world and led to becoming a historian of another country, and then I became my career in another country and so on,” he said.
“So and then have this range of academic jobs that were very international.
