Given that in the next few days the precipitation, the district collector Anu Kumari issued instructions on the trees of the ax and crop overhanging branches that pose a danger to the public. The direction applies to trees in public and private real estate in the district.

According to the latest forecasts from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), rainfall in the next few days is likely to intensify through the Thiruvananthapuram district. On Sunday and Monday, the district was included in Orange Astrart for isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall.
