
Srinjoy Bose was officially appointed new secretary Mohun Bagan, one of the oldest and most prestigious football clubs in India. The announcement was made on Saturday evening justice in retirement Asim Kumar Roy, chairman of the election council of the club.
Bose, former deputy Rajya Sabha representing the Trinamool Congress, presented his nomination on the last day of June 9 and was elected unlike after no other candidate took position. His panel, which included several important members of the club community, was similarly elected without opposition.
In the remarkable development of Srinjoy Bose and outgoing Secretary Debashis Dutt, who initially questioned separately, reached the agreement and presented a common panel. The news suggests that Debashis Dutta will be expected to take over the role of the President until a formal confirmation at the meeting of the Executive Committee is scheduled for Monday.
After taking over the office, Srinjoy Bose emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation in the club.
“We were democratically led the campaign, we approached supporters and members, and received valuable feedback and suggestions on how the club should be launched. We implement these proposals and cooperate for the success of the club,” he said.
As for the former President Swapnasadhan (Tutu) bass, Bose noted that although there may not be a designated position for him in the new committee, his contributions will continue to be appreciated.
“The new leadership will always have its blessings,” Bose added.

Mohun Bagan fans hope that the new leadership will direct the club to and outside the field.
