PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi failed to participate in the quarterly annual meeting of ICC after hosting the masters trophy. Naqvi could not travel to Harare for recent meetings for waiting personal business in Pakistan. Naqvi is also the Federal Minister of the Interior, a key position in the central government.
“Mohsin could not go at home for work and Sumair Ahmed, the CEO of the Board of Directors took part in ICC meetings,” the official said.
Since the meeting ended, there has been a silence on the PCB part of the PCB, whether the PCB representative has been pushed on stage for the final ceremony of the Masters in Dubai.

It is understood that ICC will never mention any official reasons, because only the chairman of the ICC, a member of the Board of Directors or the state manager may be on the stage for the trophy ceremony. The situation seems to remain the same after the ICC meeting, because neither the sports world nor the PCB said anything in this matter. Interestingly, Sumair Ahmed, who attended the meeting, was also the only PCB leader in Dubai for the CT finals.
A reliable source said ICC meetings discussed the two -stage system for the World Championship in the test, but what attitude PCB was interested in is not known for the silence of PCB.
ICC and PCB have also completed the financial matters of the champions trophy, although PCB claims to earn three billion rupees from Trophy masters. In addition to shares that ICC distributes between its complete test and associated Member States from tournament income.
