Aakash Chopra feels that Mohammed’s contributions to the Indian team tend to be unnoticed because of the star power of Jasprit Bumrah and bowling beside him. Siraj was the head of the goalkeeper in the series with 13 scalp on his name from 6 shifts.
But Bumrah is still considered a key man for India in the series because he has 12 goals out of four shifts. Chopra, when he spoke on his YouTube channel, said Siraj’s performance was impressive in the past, but because of the way of release and Bumrah stars made everyone forget her contributions.
“Not all the pitchors could be as skillful as Bumrah, and sometimes when you and Bumhrah you are not noticing, even if you are skilled. You will look inferior whenever you are great.
“This does not mean that the guy is not good. He’s skilled. Sometimes there’s a pitch like Siraj, addicted to others. If you look at Bumrah, he gets many released hips.
“You have to sit and admire the workload of Siraje”
Siraj ticked 109 overs in the series so farAnd Chopra recorded a hat on Pacer. The former cricket also revealed that Siraj is the third in terms of Overs Bowled since 2023 among Pacers. Chopra said we should sit and admire the work load of Siri.
“If you see the workload of Siraj in the last two years (from 1 January 2023), you will have to sit and admire and appreciate. If you are talking about fast pitching around the world, it is third in terms of the number of playback.
“If we look at it from an Indian point of view, no one was more overwhelmed than him. In fact, if we see overall for India, it is second, only for jada. Jadda (990 exceeding) bowed to nearly 1000 overs and also bowed to almost 800.
