India Mohammed Shami was dissatisfied with the team’s bowling in the first test against England in Leeds. England defeated India by five goals by chasing their second highest target in the 371 test history on the last day and in the series took the lead 1-0. Indian pitchs escaped running at more than 4.5 runs through shifts, because only Jasprit Bumrah looked efficient.
Assessment of India’s output in the Opener of the Shami series suggested that Other pitchs should learn from Bumhrah And give him sufficient support during the matches.
