Congress on Monday (May 12, 2025) claimed that the “very delayed” address for the nation of the Sindoor operation fell silent about “revelation” of US President Donald Trump if their hostility soon did not end if their hostility would soon end.
The official attitude of the Congress on the matter, articulated by the Chief of Communications of the Jairam Ramesh, was contrary to the attitude of the leader and the member of Lok Sabha Shashi Tharoor, who claimed that the ceasefire was a “two -sided agreement” between India and Pakistan.

Thararoor’s view
Contrary to this view, Mr. Tharoor told PTI’s press agency that the Indian government allowed a “certain politician to obtain a loan”, referring to the claim to Mr. Trump.
“I see it as a specific politician who wants to take recognition for something, and I see that the Indian government probably said,” Let them take recognition if they want to “he said.
“On May 7, we made it clear that what we did was to intervene terrorist goals in repression for Pahalgam and the last thing we wanted was to see it as the beginning of a long, lengthy conflict,” he added.
