Modernization work carried out at the Chidambarama Station in the Cuddalore district at the price of 5.96 GBP Crore under the AMRIT Bharat (Abs) station is approaching.

According to railway officials, there were up to 15 railway stations in Tiruchi Railway Division, including Tirupadripuliyur, Vriddham and Chidambarama in the district of Cuddalore and Villupuram, which was provided to a complete person and increased equipment. About 98% of work at the Chidambarama railway station was completed.
The station started a number of works, which included the construction of an entrance arc, improvement of the circulation area, office and booking, shelters on the platform, providing lighting and marking boards, other benches and reserved parking.
“The leading altitude work with the development of parking spaces and pedestrian roads and pension rooms in the station building was completed. The construction of a new toilet block on the platform 1 was also completed at the station. The station was also installed.
The integrated passenger information system is set to provide real -time updates about trains plans, platform changes and other key travel information to ensure a trouble -free journey for commuting. The modernization of the station is aimed at strengthening the overall travel experience of passengers.
ABS is an ongoing mission of Indian railways, which started in February 2023 to rebuild 1,275 stations nationwide.
