Police in the district of Annamayya restored 601 lost or stolen mobile phones worth about 1.2 GBP Crore and returned them to its justified owners during the seventh “Mobile Recovery Mel”, which took place on Wednesday at the district police office. Interestingly, many of the regenerated mobile phones were traced to Telangana, Tamil Nadu and even to Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.
Speaking to the Media, Superintendent of Police V. Vidyasagar Naidu Said: “Between November 2024 and May 2025, The Police Received Over 1,300 Complaints Related to Missing Or. Inspector T. John Joseph.
So far, in seven phases, the team has successfully traced and won 1,627 mobile phones worth about 3.16 GBP Crore. Mr. Naida said that people who have lost their mobiles can simply report the loss by sending the “Hi” to WhatsApp, 8688830012, or they can register their complaint on CEIR. There is no need to serve a company.
He urged people to immediately block the numbers of lost mobile phones and asked them to avoid buying second -hand phones without valid income.
