The striker contributed to two league titles, including last season when he won several individual awards as Slot secured the league in his first year.Salah has now said his relationship with Sloto has broken down after being kept on the bench for three games in a row.“I’m very, very disappointed to be fair. I’ve done so much for this club over the years and especially last season,” Salah told the media. “Now I’m sitting on the bench and I don’t know why. It feels like the club threw me under the bus. That’s how I feel. I think it’s quite clear that someone wanted me to take all the blame for it.”Slot has supported Salah throughout the season despite the 33-year-old struggling for form. Salah has scored five goals in 19 games and has been criticized by pundits for not contributing defensively.Salah and Liverpool have already been preparing for a temporary break, with the player joining Egypt for the Africa Cup of Nations this week after games against Inter Milan and Brighton.Salah suggested the Brighton game could be his last at Anfield.“I will enjoy the match because I don’t know what will happen now,” he said.“I will be at Anfield to say goodbye to the fans and go to the African Cup. I don’t know what will happen when I get there.”Liverpool’s failure to hold on to 2-0 and 3-2 leads against Leeds left them with just two wins from their last 10 league games, dropping them to eighth and ending their hopes of retaining the title.
