Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) and former Deputy Speaker Puttanna has urged the state government to enable the services of senior professors in tier-one colleges as post-doctoral fellows in public universities facing shortage of permanent faculty.
On Friday, he inaugurated the 36th annual session of the Karnataka History Congress at the Central College campus, organized in collaboration with Dr. Manmohan Singh Bengaluru City University, Bangalore University, Government Arts College, Karnataka Archives and Gazetteer Department and Indian Council for Historical Research Southern Regional Centre, Bangalore on Friday.
