However, Andre Fletcher and Matthew Tromp leveled the innings with a 63-run partnership for the second wicket. Fletcher hit 34 off 26 balls before Rushil Ugarkar broke the stand while Tromp continued to anchor the innings with a composed 44 off 36 deliveries.Rovman Powell contributed a brisk 23, but it was Holder who provided the late pace, smashing 43 from just 22 balls, including three fours and three sixes. Sunil Narine’s unbeaten eight off three deliveries helped Los Angeles finish at a competitive 165 for 6. Bosch and Ugarkar were the pick of the bowlers for MI New York, taking three wickets each.The chase got off to a poor start for MI New York as Quinton de Kock departed for a duck and skipper Nicholas Pooran struggled for fluency before falling for 16. Pollard shifted gears gradually before launching an attack after a drinks break, hitting a superb unbeaten 63 off 35 balls, including six fours and two sixes.Anderson provided the perfect support act as he smashed an unbeaten 37 off 24 deliveries with four sixes.With 51 needed from the last four overs, the experienced duo looked to Holder and Andre Russell to keep the equation in check before Anderson sealed victory with a six to complete a memorable comeback win for MI New York.
