Srikalahasti MLA fought Sudheer Reddy on Thursday that the state government is determined to ensure development with minimal printing of carbon legs.
In the program organized by the Tirupati (Tuda), the World Environment Day in Renigunta, the MLA underlined the importance of collective responsibility in environmental protection. “World Environment Day is not only symbolic, but a call for action for individuals, communities and government to take sustainable steps in the future.”
Mr. Reddy also emphasized various green initiatives received by the government led by TDP under the leadership of the main Minister N. Chandrababa Naida.
He remembered the importance of the Green Vision NTR project, which aims to increase forest cover across Andhra Pradesh through large tree plantations including public participation, especially students.
The MLA further noted that the TDP government during its earlier stint in 2014-19 made Andhra Pradesh a pioneer in the renewable energy area by introducing massive solar and wind energy projects, especially in districts such as Anantapur and Curnool. Projects from waste of energy were also launched through the Government Order in 2017, so that scientifically and sustainable waste for municipal waste management.
The event was marked by the participation of several dignitaries, including the chairman of Tuda Dollars Divacar Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Greening and Beautification Corporation Chairman Mannur Sugunamm and Tirupati Municipal Corporation Commissioner N. Moury.
Mr. Divationar Reddy and others marked the Smart Village-Smart Ward, another key initiative within the TDP, which focused on the local communities to clean and greener with solid waste management, solar-powered solar infrastructure and drinking water safety.
The leaders put seedlings and took a promise to protect the environment.
