Kerala’s legislator broke the house on Saturday, allegedly connected by a private financial company to help the family accept basic documents and medicines for Karunagappally in Kollam.
The company attached a two -storey house and locked the building on May 30 when its owners were gone.
The event was accepted because they reportedly failed to pay off the amount they received from the bank a few years ago.
Karunagappall MLA CR Malesh on Saturday broke its lock open with a hammer and chisel in the presence of its owners and media.
Later he asked family members, including women to get into the house and lead basic articles, including clothing, medicines and necessary documents such as certificates and Aadhaar cards.
“The family was not even informed by a private financial company that it was attached to the house. All their basic articles, including the influence card and the Aadhaar card, were inside the building,” Mahesh told reporters here.
He said that a family of family family suffers from a serious illness related to the eye and even her medicine was inside the house.
He said that attaching a house without informing about its owner was an act of “cruelty”, he said that the management of the financial company should do this after ensuring that they were moved to a safer place.
Local authorities should also be informed, Mahesh said.
After the family came out after taking their basic articles and medicine, the MLA locked the house, as was done by a financial institution.
Private companies must still respond to this matter.
