An unlimited strike by Transport Corporation, which demanded that the state government on Tuesday to induce a mixed reaction in Kalaburag.
Because KKRTC buses parked at the central bus booth were found and in the city’s songs, private buses were put into operation to alleviate public inconvenience.
The commuters relying on public transport services in rural areas faced significant disruptions because the connectivity remained affected in Taluk places. Remote passengers who come to the city faced difficulties in achieving their birthplace.
The police took complicated security measures mainly in the bus parking as a preventive measure.
Police Commissioner Sharanappa S. Dhage and higher officials visited the central bus booth and other areas to assess and ensure that the situation was under control in the city.
The commuters who arrived at the bus booth were seen either an alternative arrangement or abolished their journey. All railway services scheduled during the morning hours were found because many passengers decided to travel by train to achieve their destinations.
And the strike has become a profitable for local transport methods, including Autorickshaws, operating short distances in the city.
“On a normal day, 250 buses are working on various routes from the central bus booth to 8 am, but on Tuesday only 20-25 buses were operated at that time,” the officials said.
