The FBI released images Tuesday of a masked person with a holstered gun outside Nancy Guthrie’s home the night she went missing, marking the first major lead in the high-profile case in 10 days. The footage shows the person, wearing a backpack and ski mask, ducking his head to avoid the doorbell camera as he approaches an archway at Savannah Guthrie’s mother’s residence.
Two significant obstacles slowed the investigation: a security camera was missing and the 84-year-old grandmother had not signed up for a backup camera storage service, according to the New York Post.
