Despite showing rust signs, she failed with her first attempt at 84 kg, succeeded with the same weight in her second attempt. Then she tried 89 kg in her last effort, but could not complete the elevator.
In clean and jerking, Mirabai opened with 105 kg before a successful deletion of 109 kg. She tried 113 kg for her last elevator, but could not register a clean attempt.

Malaysie’s Irene Henry provided a silver with a total of 161 kg (73 kg + 88 kg), while Wales’ Nikole Roberts claimed a bronze with 150 kg (70 kg + 80 kg).
This victory was provided by Mirabai’s third gold medal Commonwealth Championships in the 48 kg category and added to her titles in 2013 and 2017. In 2015 she also won silver in Pune.
The Community Championship serves as a qualifying event for the next year Commonwealth Games, where Mirabai is again expected to be popular.
However, its immediate focus will be moved to this year’s World Championship, where it will focus on stage in class 48 kg. Next year it also focuses on Asian games, one of the few main competitions where they still have to win the medal.
