In the middle of the continuing precipitation, which destroyed a large part of the Bidar district, Minister for the Municipal Administration and Haj Rahim Khan and Lok Sabha MP Sagar Khandre on Sunday visited the affected floods.
During his visit to the villages in Bidar Taluk, Minister Rahim Khan said that the main minister had already released 50 GBP Crore for immediate flood relief and a request for another 100 crore was submitted.
He announced that the Crore 5 GBP would be released to repair the damaged bridge in the village of Aliyambar and ordered public works officials to prefer the restoration of roads and bridges.
Note that continuous rainfall in the last three weeks has destroyed crops such as green gram, black gram, soy and pigeon peas, except that it has caused damage to many houses, the Minister said that it has already been ordered to assess losses and compensation under SDRF and NDF standards.
Assistant by Commissioner Mohammad Shakeel, Bidar Tahsildar Ravindra Dham and Deputy Director of Agriculture IQBAL Ansari accompanied him.
In another initiative, Bidar Sagar Khandre, a deputy, visited several villages in Bhallki Taluk to meet the locals and check the extent of damage to crops and property.
He noted that waterlogging was affected by thousands of acres of standing crops and hundreds of houses and that several bridges and roads collapsed, which disrupted the strength and water supply.
He ordered agricultural officials to conduct urgent surveys and ensure that the disabled farmers receive insurance compensation and order local authorities to provide immediate relief to the injured households and restore basic services.
During his visit, officials, representatives and villagers were present at the level of taluk.

The day before, the Minister of Forests and the district commissioned Eshwar Khandre, who spent a few days visiting the flood areas in the district, in August he met the main Minister Siddaraiaha in Bengalur, looking for a special package of 100 crore to deal with widespread losses caused by collision in August.
He stressed that thousands of acres of soy, pigeons, green grams, black grams and other crops were destroyed. He said that hundreds of houses were damaged, while the flood waters were washed away by food in low -lying houses.
He also stated that bridges and roads were damaged, interrupted connectivity and supplying by power, and were looking for immediate assistance to support farmers, daily workers and other affected people.
“Bidar, the already backward district, was pushed by the floods into another shortage. Farmers, poor and daily workers trying to survive in the face of this disaster,” he said, calling on the government to prolong immediate support.
