
Ministers Laxmi Hebalkar, Satish Jarkiholi and MP Priyanka Jarkiholi congratulated the author of Ban Mushtaq and the translator of Deep Bhasti at the cost of Booker.
It is a great joy that the writer Kannada Banu Mushtaq has won the prestigious Booker Award for her book Heart.
“I am expanding her sincere congratulations and translators of Deep Bhasti,” said Mrs. Hebbalkar. The Minister wanted more works to come out of the Mushtaq pen.
Mr. Satish Jarkiholi and Mrs. Priyanka Jarkiholi congratulated the duo to the writers of the translator.
“He sincerely congratulated the proud writer Kannada Ban Mushtaq for winning the International Booker Award. Banu Mushtaq, who writes at the actual values of harmony, secularism and brotherhood of this country, increased the flag of Kannad’s size at international level and brought respect to us,” Mr. Jarkihoholi said.
Mrs. Jarkiholi said it was a proud moment for all Cannadigs. “Congratulations to Ban Mushtauq, a proud writer of our country, who has won the world literary prize of the Booker, can write more good works in this way. I wish its literary world from Cannada spread and the smell of Cannada will spread throughout the world,” MP said.
