
Minister of irrigation N. Uttam Kumar Reddy at a condolence meeting for veteran CPI Surravar Sudhakar Reddy in Kodad on Tuesday.
The Minister of irrigation and civic vans N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said on Tuesday that the Communists were a permanent power that struggles for workers and poor without land, and claimed that the future of the state would be stronger with the pulsating left movements.
Uttam spoke at a condolence meeting for the leaders of the veteran CPI Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy in Kodad and appreciated the lifelong service of the late leader and said his legacy was still inspired.
Mr Uttam Kumar Reddy said that communism is not only a heir to the past, but a continuing necessity and claimed that political space must always remain open to parties that place ideology and principles over electoral efficiency.
He published honors of Suraram Sudhakar Reddy and said, “Sudhakar Reddy was a leader who did not look for much for himself, but gave his whole life as the causes in which he believed. His life is an example of how to practice ideology with honesty.”
The Minister also stressed that the Communist Movement must be revived and reused in Telangana.
