
BC Roads and Buildings Minister Janardhan Reddy on Sunday (March 8, 2026) said the government has started development work worth ₹12 crore in just 20 months at Koilkuntla of Banganapalle assembly constituency.
Mr. Janardhan Reddy inaugurated the newly laid CC road and sewer constructed near Sunkalamma temple in the village at a cost of ₹ 86 lakh and also inspected various ongoing development works.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the people of Koilkuntla had given him a big majority in the last elections and he was fulfilling their expectations by developing the village.
The minister said construction of a building at a cost of ₹1.50 million for Mandal Parish Office headquarters, addition of rooms in the Government Junior College at a cost of ₹40 million, installation of an RO mineral plant at a cost of ₹9 million and several other development projects are underway.
He said the TDP government of 2014-2019 developed Koilkuntla by starting the development works by spending ₹5 crore while the YSR Congress Party government spent only ₹84 crore during its five-year tenure.
