Minister reviews Vemulawada temple expansion, construction work

Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said the state government is determined to develop the historic Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Temple at Vemulawada in a planned manner, with a futuristic vision and focus on improving the spiritual atmosphere and improving amenities for pilgrims.
He was speaking after reviewing the progress of the ongoing development and expansion of the temple in a meeting with officials at the Integrated District Office Complex in Sircilla on Monday evening.
Mr. Prabhakar said that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was very interested in the development of the historic temple and that the government had allocated sufficient funds for the purpose.
He directed the officials to closely monitor the ongoing works and ensure their timely completion while adhering to quality standards.
He also directed officials to speed up road widening and other development works in Vemulawada.
Earlier, the officials presented in PowerPoint the progress of the temple expansion and other development works under the aegis of Vemulawada Temple Area Development Authority (VTADA).
Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA Adi Srinivas, Rajanna Sircilla Collector Garima Agrawal and others were present.
