
Minister of School Education Madhu Bangappa said that the state government will open a residential school near the Kidwai Cancer Institute in Bengalur since the current academic year for children affected by cancer.
He spoke to reporters on Saturday, Madhu Bangappa said that the school would be established to provide education and treatment for children affected by cancer.
The government consulted the NGO to submit an action plan, added and added that about 1,500 children could initially be accommodated. “There are about 3,500 cancer children in the state and can be cured with proper care and medicines,” the minister said.
To improve the quality of teachers, the Minister said that the government contacted the Infosys Foundation to conduct 50,000 teachers, he said.
Regarding the results of the SSLC supplementary examinations, the Minister said that children of government schools have improved compared to those in private and auxiliary schools. The idea of complementary exams helped stop students in surrender with her studies. The government gave them the opportunity to appear on tests without paying the fee, he added.
