The Minister of Ponnam Prabhakar said that the government overcame several obstacles to bring 42% of reservations to the reverse classes and urges political parties supporting reservations about the honorary statements before the High Court.
On Monday, the media in Gandhi addressed Bhavan along with another Minister Vakiti Srihari and said that the government of Congress cost its promise to ensure social justice. A comprehensive caste survey was carried out, a specialized commission and subcommittee were established, and after detailed discussions in the cabinet, the State Assembly was reinforced by the BC to reinforce BC reservations in local authorities to 42% with the support of all political parties.
The Minister has pointed out that there are similar precedents, with citing Indira Sawhney and Krishnamurty, where the Supreme Court explained that local reservations of bodies fall within the competence of state governments.
“In accordance with this, Telangana Go No. 9, which increases the BC reservations to 42% in local public opinion polls. We respect the judiciary and grant 42% of BCS reservations not to cause injustice. This decision is based on verified data and people’s opinions,” he said.
He said that the High Court will listen to the arguments of 8 October and the Chief Minister of Revanth Reddy led the initiative under the leadership of the Rahul Gandhi Congress leader. “When 10% of the EWS reservation was introduced, 50% of the ceiling was already relaxed. Tamil Nadu made 69% of the reservations according to the ninth schedule,” he recalled.
The focus on BJP, Mr. Prabhakar directly questioned National President BC Cell K. Laxman to clarify why he would be against the BCS reservation. “If you are really a BCS voice, use your influence and get the waiting account cleaned up by the president,” he said.
